Welcome to the Website of Karole Cozzo, YA Author
I'm extremely excited to begin my journey toward publication in 2015. Please check out my website to learn a little bit about me and visit periodically for news, updates, and links.
The opportunity to realize a personal dream was granted through Swoon Reads, an imprint of Macmillan, which gives writers and readers alike direct access to the publishing process. It's a wonderful community to be a part of and I'm very grateful for the friendships I've established and the professionals I've gotten to know through Swoon.

Now about getting to know me...
As a full-time working mom with two kiddos three and under, this pretty much sums up my life at the moment:
I am a left-handed Scorpio and I admittedly possess the characteristics of a left-handed Scorpio, good and bad.
I
got proposed to by someone dressed up as Peter Pan. I said "yes." He's
actually done a remarkable job of growing up since then.
And the two of us like to think we have a lot in common with Eric & Tammy Taylor.
My favorite contemporary literary couple is Amy & Poe. If you don't know who I'm talking about, look 'em up. And read!
I live outside of Philadelphia, fifteen minutes from the house I grew up in. I've never lived anywhere but the East Coast.
I’ve been writing YA romance since I was a YA –
horribly cheesy stories about romances set at the Jersey Shore involving my
best friends and really hot guys “with gold hoop earrings in their left ear.” I
used to write entire novels by hand in prettily decorated looseleaf notebooks.
I think the slow and steady disappearance of
book stores counts as a national tragedy.
:(
When I entered college, I was a biochem
major. Which is actually just hilarious,
because I’m sooo not a biochemist.
My father is still my hero.
